Board the Southland in Galilee and you will begin an 11 mile narrated nautical tour that people have been talking about for the past 35 years. This tour gives you an opportunity to see some of the most beautiful scenery in all of New England! You’ll view such sights as the Historic Point Judith Lighthouse, the protected waters of the Harbor of Refuge, beautiful beaches, as well as a glimpse of Block Island. You will see the 2nd largest working fishing port on the East Coast with offshore draggers, lobster boats and sport fishing vessels. Many of the sport fishing boats sail past us and quite often, the prize catches of Tuna, Swordfish and Shark can be viewed from our decks.

You’ll explore the 11 islands and many pristine coves and inlets throughout the length of the largest Salt pond in all of Rhode Island, the “Point Judith Pond.” You will see classic New England Homes, colorful sailboats and the local fisherman digging for clams & quahogs. If you’re a bird lover you’re in for a real treat! You may see turns, Gulls, Red-Winged Blackbirds, Osprey, Cormorants, Canadian Geese, Snowy Egrets, White Swans and if you’re lucky you’ll see an elusive Blue Heron.
